The grounds at the Shenandoah Heritage Village integrate informal gardens, fruit trees and a native grape vineyard along the pathways and near the historic buildings. The gardens are home to an ever expanding collection of rare heirloom plants. Spring to Fall are graced in succession by the blooms of Nigella, wallflowers, Sweet-Williams, foxgloves, hollyhocks, all kinds of sunflowers, cleomes, cardoons and many other plants.
